Hi there, nope I am so not dead and I haven't got the time to switch blogs. :) It's just that my lappy has been down, and this freaking desktop I'm using now is crazy slow. Yup, how was your christmas?

Christmas feels weirdly vacant this year, maybe it's the lack of the christmas trees I've not been seeing. Maybe it's because it's the first year without __.

On a sidenote, Japan was awesome!!!!! I want to upload pics with my cam but I'll prolly screw this comp up with my pictures. So yeah, it'll take awhile, keep coming back to check for updates k!!!

I is not dead, just been going out.

I care about a flower.
I care about a withering flower.
I care about a withering flower reaching up to me, crying.

And it kills me to see such a flower. Such a lovely flower, wilting in the August heat. Some people say it's healthy for a flower if one were to talk to it. I know this to be false because everyone in the world has spoken to this flower, and no one has cared to listen. And now it cannot take another word on it's shoulders.

I care to listen.

A delicate sunflower, such as this can sometimes forget about it's deep-running roots. So much emphasis is put into the beauty and happiness of such a flower, that sometimes people don't care to remember that it, too needs attention; it, too needs love.

I care to remember

When care is tossed aside, and such a flower is neglected... It's happiness fades and a once beautiful sunflower changes. It no longer feels the sun's rays on it everyday, though it is still sunny. It no longer aches when the day ends and that sun falls away, though night still comes. Such a flower no longer feels cared for. Such a flower becomes numb and starts to wither without the tender care it deserves.

I care to care.

I dream of a day when I am the one who lets the streams of tears dry on your face, Sunflower; to stop the flow of tears, by restarting the flow of time in your heart. I want to take you from your hollow place, your empty cave in which distant thoughts fester until they cloud all light that might try to sneak it's way down to your beautiful petals. You deserve a palace in the clouds, a sanctuary in which no fear or deception could ever reside. High above the Earth, you would glow down upon the people you know and love. You would be their source of light, rather than needing one for yourself, so far underground.

I care to build you such a sanctuary.

This is the first brick of that palace, what you are reading now. This is a testament to what you should own. Engraved here is what I know to be true: that no one with the power to tear down this home for you in the sky should ever use it. You deserve better than that. Anyone who would pull you from the clouds and back down to the Earth is a monster. If they should, though, always know that this brick will remain. My faith in you and your character will always stay in the highest regards; here in the clouds, ready to be built upon.

I care to keep you close to the stars, Sunflower.

i hope someday i'll be able to find someone who cares about me the way the writer cares about the sunflower :)
